Shirley Tam, RDH

Shirley graduated from College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2009 with a BA degree in Biology and Psychology.

She has been in the dental field for over seven years, first starting out as a dental assistant while completing her dental hygiene degree at Farmingdale state college.

Shirley joined the dental practice in March of 2016 and is truly thankful for having found a great team to work with every day.

She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She enjoys getting to know her patients individually to provide high-quality dental care. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs.

Shirley loves to travel, dine out and values spending time with her friends and family.

Beth Caunitz

General & Cosmetic Dentistry

Beth Caunitz, DDS, has a passion for helping people reach their optimal oral health through preventive dentistry, education, and the most innovative and natural therapies around. Her eco-friendly office is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan.

Because Dr. Caunitz and her entire team are dedicated to treating each person with empathy and dignity, they make every effort to accommodate those who have a dental emergency.

Dr. Caunitz has been in private practice in New York City since 1991. She is a proud member of the American Association of Women Dentists and the American Dental Association. She also belongs to the National Integrated Health Associates and the New York County Dental Society. She and her husband are Manhattan residents. They have two sons and a daughter.

Kristen Lee

General & Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr. Kristen Lee grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, and completed her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Lee relocated to NYC where she continued her training in general dentistry through the General Practice Residency program at Columbia University Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Lee is an active member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon- the National Dental Honor Society, the New York County Dental Society and American Dental Association. Dr. Lee is a compassionate, dedicated, ethical practitioner with a focus on treating the entire patient. She actively pursues opportunities for continuing education and training to stay at the forefront of dentistry today.

Marcello Guglielmi

Oral Surgery

Dr. Marcello Guglielmi received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Rochester, and completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University with a focus in Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Guglielmi completed a Fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Head/Neck Oncology Surgery in 2017. He is a board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Guglielmi is the author of several scientific publications.

By engaging patients in a detailed discussion and conducting a thorough exam, Dr. Guglielmi will establish a diagnosis and personalized treatment. His skills ensure the highest quality care with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort with sedation. Specific services that Dr. Guglielmi provides include dental implants, bone graft, wisdom teeth removal, IV sedation, TMJ therapy, facial cosmetics, oral cancer, and facial injuries.

Dr. Anamaria Castillo

Periodontics

Dr. Anamaria Castillo earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduating with the highest honors. She was recognized for her exceptional clinical and academic achievements and was the recipient of the prestigious Dean’s Award for Exemplary Patient Care.

Dr. Castillo pursued her specialty education in Periodontics and Implant Surgery and completed her Master of Science in Oral Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. She conducted clinical research for Colgate-Palmolive, where she explored the effects of chronobiology on various oral health parameters, earning the Sreebny Resident Research Award. Throughout her years of training, she gained extensive experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic periodontal procedures.

Dr. Castillo is a board-certified periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She currently serves on the board for the Northeastern Society of Periodontists and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. Additionally, she maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Team for Implantology, the Straumann Women’s Implantology Network, the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgery, and the New York County Dental Society.

Dr. Castillo is dedicated to patient education, emphasizing the important relationship between periodontal disease and one’s overall systemic health. She advocates for collaborative care and integrates both personalized and precision medicine into her treatment plan development. Offering a comprehensive range of surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapies, Dr. Castillo focuses on delivering patient-centered care through a minimally invasive, compassionate approach.

Leonora has been treating patients in our office for over 15 years! You will find that she is compassionate, able to put her patients at ease, and will always ensure a positive dental experience. Leonora loves her career as a dental hygienist and is great at educating her patients on oral hygiene. In her spare time, she loves being with her family and loves to travel!

Jackie has been a member of Dr. Moses’ team since 2004. A Queens native, she earned her dental hygiene degree at the University of Colorado in 2003. She loves connecting with patients and is passionate about the oral-systemic health connection. Jackie is also a part-time clinical instructor at NYU College of Dentistry. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Born and raised in New York, Argy has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years. She loves working with and educating patients to achieve optimum oral health. When not in the office, she enjoys concerts, traveling to Greece (she speaks fluent Greek), and spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
